This has been a miracle cure for me. I have suffered for years with extremely dry hands. This has affected my ability to do general day to day tasks and in cold winter months it is unbearable with the dryness developing to deeper cracks, bleeding, burning etc. I began to feel tired of the prescribed steroid and emollient creams I usually get from my doctor, they always seem to have little lasting effect. I decided to take matters into my own hands - no pun intended! After some research I ordered some of this Shea butter. I was initially alarmed at how light the tub is, then inside the Shea butter looks a weird cross between chunks of pale fudge and cheese! This is no man made cream - everything about it is completely natural. I have really grown to love the smell, although a few people have said it is unpleasant. To me it just adds to the rawness of the product. It genuinely is the best money I have ever spent! It has helped my dry hands so much, I wish I had discovered it years ago. I even begun using this elsewhere: hair, feet, face. It is keeping my skin healthy and soft. The butter melts and sinks right in and you can feel the moisturising effects, rather than a barrier on your skin like many creams create. No doubt I will be buying lots more!

A staple product that everyone should have in their bathroom cabinet. I've been suffering from dry itchy winter skin and my usual bio-oil and E45 products weren't helping. A friend recommended this and I ended up buying the 500g tub. I think this will probably last me for 2 years as a little goes a long way. You can either break off a small crumble and melt it in your fingertips if you want to apply it to cuticles or on the face but what I've been doing lately is putting a small chunk into a ceramic bowl and then sitting that inside a larger bowl of hot water. After a couple of minutes it melts into a thick oil which I have been slathering all over my body. It has soothed all my dry skin problems and I no longer have dry scaly snake skin on my legs (from shaving I guess). Even better I use it as a hot oil treatment for my hair (pre shampoo) and it has made my parched frizzy hair silky and soft after only one application. The only downside is the funky smell which I have gotten used to. But it's raw and unrefined, so I don't expect it to smell like a bunch of flowers
